Therapeutic photography can help you manage and even reduce the impacts of ADHD, depression, anxiety, clarify and strengthen identity, and address so much more through bringing our unconscious thoughts and feelings into our awareness.
Learn how therapeutic photography:
aids memory,
improves communication,
promotes self-esteem,
supports the process of change,
encourages reflection and personal growth,
helps create experiences of social connection
Using self-portraiture, image projection, family albums, writing, storytelling, and time in nature, we can experience:
self-expression,
reflection,
perspective shifts,
pattern recognition
beauty everywhere - light in the dark,
non-verbal communication,
mindfulness, flow, and focus,
control and feedback,
social bonds,
and connection to our unconscious.
I look forward to sharing the awesomeness of therapeutic photography with you at this workshop. Registration in advance is required. Register through EventBrite.
Bring several printed-out photos, a journal, any camera (phone camera is fine), and 1-3 special objects.
No previous photography or art experience necessary. You don’t even have to be a photography enthusiast ~ just be curious to find new ways of helping yourself move through this experience called life to broaden your perspective. We meet ourselves exactly where we are at and go from there.
We will meet on Monday, February 19th from 6:30-8:30 pm virtually on Zoom (link is sent after registration).
